TAFI hosts knowledge sharing, networking sessions for Mexico

During the event, Consul General of Mexico, Adolfo García Estrada emphasised the long-standing cultural and economic ties between India and Mexico and the potential for even greater collaboration in the tourism sector.

The Travel Agents Federation of India’s (TAFI) Western India Chapter joined forces with the Consul General of Mexico to host a successful evening dedicated to destination Mexico. The event, aimed at travel agents, tour operators, and tourism representatives, fostered connections and collaboration within the travel sector with a focus on promoting travel to Mexico.

During the event, Consul General of Mexico, Adolfo García Estrada emphasised the long-standing cultural and economic ties between India and Mexico and the potential for even greater collaboration in the tourism sector. Another session for member attendees focused on the plethora of attractions that Mexico has to offer Indian travellers, be it the rich tapestry of Mexican culture, its ancient traditions or the vibrant contemporary scene.

The evening also featured valuable industry insights and an informative presentation by TripToMexico, a Mexico DMC represented by Global Destinations. They shed light on the exceptional services TripToMexico offers in Mexico and beyond, ensuring a seamless and enriching travel experience. To cap off the evening, dedicated networking sessions provided attendees with a fantastic opportunity to connect with key industry leaders, exchange ideas, and explore potential collaborations and business ventures.

As per the association, this Mexican-themed knowledge-sharing and networking event exemplifies TAFI’s ongoing commitment to member value. Following the triumphs of the inaugural Tourism Stakeholders Meet in February and the TAFI-Spanish networking event in April, this event provided another successful platform for learning and connection. The initiative proved a resounding success, with valuable destination knowledge imparted to the fraternity.
