Tianfu Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine by Muda Architects

Chengdu studio Muda Architects has concluded Tianfu Museum of Chinese Drugs in Pengzhou, China, which is centered on the form of the yin-yang symbol.

Positioned beside the Huitong Lake, the museum aims to showcase the heritage of Chinese medication although becoming a “non secular emblem for the region”.

Its circular variety spans land and drinking water and is created by Muda Architects as a huge Taiji diagram, or yin-yang symbol, to depict the philosophy of holistic common Chinese medicine (TCM).

Muda Architects placed the main entrance on the west facade, whilst a secondary opening punctures the double-curved glass curtain wall dealing with the neighbouring lake to the east.

At the front of the developing is a landscaped plaza with paved walkways, developed to host outdoor functions as properly as connect the museum to the bordering streets.
