Gajendra S. Shekhawat becomes the new tourism, culture minister

Suresh Gopi has taken on as Minister of State for Tourism. Notably, Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu will step into the role of Minister of Civil Aviation, taking over from Jyotiraditya Scindia.

In a recent cabinet reshuffle, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has been appointed as the new Minister of Culture and Minister of Tourism. Shekhawat, the Indian politician from Rajasthan has recently served as Union Cabinet Minister in Ministry of Jal Shakti. He has been a member of parliament from the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Suresh Gopi has taken on the dual responsibilities of Minister of State in the Ministry of Tourism and Minister of State in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. He replaces Shripad Yesso Naik, who will now oversee the Ministry of Power and the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy as the Minister of State.

Notably, Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu will step into the role of Minister of Civil Aviation, taking over from Jyotiraditya Scindia. Complementing him, Murlidhar Mohol has been appointed as the Minister of State in the Ministry of Civil Aviation.

This reshuffle marks a strategic realignment of the cabinet under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s third term, aiming to enhance governance and efficiency in key sectors.
